1. The University of Iowa finally won a Big Ten football game, but unfortunately, the victory came at the expense of my friend Kathy and her University of Illinois.
   
   
2. My youngest child can fly. (I think she's been reading too much about Peter Pan.)
   
   
3. I'm all caught up on my grading for the kids. My oldest has straight A's going for the first quarter in high school.
