Numbness, milkshakes, chic flick

1. My oldest had her fillings done today --- all three of them. She was very brave.
   
   
2. The dentist said that I should take her out for a milkshake, which I did. The problem was that the entire top part of her mouth was numb, so she had trouble getting her lips around the straw enough to drink the milkshake. The whole thing was too funny, but she said the coldness of the shake did help her to feel better.
   
   
3. The girls and I watched a chic flick this evening, and it was nice not to have to worry about school or grading papers or writing tests or anything.
