Shorts and t-shirt, close-up deer, bacon

1. Being outside this morning at about 9:00 in shorts and a t-shirt and being so comfortable with the temperature that it took me a little while to realize that it's almost the first day of winter and I shouldn't be outside in just shorts and a t-shirt.
   
   
2. Being outside this morning, and hearing something in the woods, and realizing that it was a deer, just about the time that she realized that I was outside. We were only about 20 feet apart before she took off deeper into the forest.
   
   
3. The smell of bacon frying.
