Migrating birds, fallen leaves, cold winds

1. The songs of hundreds, or maybe thousands, of birds that have temporarily invaded our fields on their way farther south.
2. Trees that have surrendered their leaves to the changes that are coming.
3. Colder winds that keep us inside.

All these things remind me how blessed we are with our big, warm house.
