1. Finding out that even if the furnace isn't quite working, the heat pump keeps the house warm enough (at least for a couple of days until we get the exhaust problem worked out

Tuna Noodle casserole for supper---just like I used to make all the time when I was much younger (my brother remembers with regret), from the recipe from my grandma that she got from Mrs. Ashburn, whose son Richie Ashburn is in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
