Graded tests, creative writing in Spanish, poker face

1. I finished grading all the tests in just two days, even after going to the Opry show on Tuesday night. No one cried during the test or after I gave them back, so I will chalk this up to another successful test.
   
   
2. The oldest read a story that she wrote in Spanish to our Spanish teacher this evening. He had very little to correct in her grammar, and he said her pronunciation was excellent. (He's a native of Mexico.) I'm so proud of her!
   
   
3. Grandpa Ernie taught the girls to play poker this evening, and I could tell by the smile on the face of my middlest that she had more Monopoly money that Grandpa had.
