Christmas music, good alto, bad jokes

  1. "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" and"Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus"

  2. Sitting by someone who knew her part during choir practice

  3. Last week, Pastor Tommy told us a joke that he said he had stolen from Pastor Jacob, and then he messed it up and didn't tell it well. The punchline was, "Some people just don't know how to tell a joke," which is true for Tommy. Today Pastor Jacob was discussing the meaning of names with the kids during the children's sermon, and he told the kids that Pastor Tommy's name meant "One who tells bad jokes." The kids were all just looking at Pastor Jacob, but the adults got it, and we all had a good laugh.
