French pens, French husbands, and walking downhill
- My new French phrase of the day: "C'est mon stylo." (same-o steel-o) Translation: "It's my pen." I like the way it sounds in French, and it reminds me of a game I used to play with my dad when I was a baby. (He played it with his granddaughters, too.)
- I had a French song in my head all day today --- "Il est bel et bon." (Eel-ay bell-ay bow.) Translation: "He is beautiful (handsome) and good." It makes me smile, but I wish I knew more of the song.
- I walked downhill both ways from my car and back to my car in the parking garage today.
